Home Education Group Sessions at Great Trethew Trekking

We are excited to announce our Home Education Group sessions, available during term time only! Living in the UK provides parents with a variety of educational opportunities, and homeschooling has become an increasingly popular choice. At Great Trethew Trekking, we understand the importance of physical education alongside academic learning, and we are proud to offer a program tailored for home-educated children.

What We Offer

Our home school rides are skill-based, ensuring that young people receive a structured and progressive riding education that goes beyond just riding lessons. In our sessions, your children will learn:

• Grooming techniques
• Tacking up ponies
• In-hand leading
• Riding skills, including walking, trotting, cantering, and jumping

To maximize the benefits of our program, we intentionally keep our class sizes small, allowing for personalized attention and support.

Session Availability

Our Home Education Group sessions are available on:

• Tuesdays
• Thursdays
• Fridays

Sessions run between 10am and 3pm.

Pricing

• 2 Hours: £30 (30 minutes riding time)
• 3 Hours: £35 (40 minutes riding time)
• 5 Hours: £50 (60 minutes riding time)

Price Increase Effective April 1^st 2025:

• 2 Hours: £32.50 (30 minutes riding time)
• 3 Hours: £37.50 (40 minutes riding time)
• 5 Hours: £55 (60 minutes riding time)

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We are committed to inclusivity and cater to children with special educational needs (SEN). We offer both lead rein and non/off-lead rein options to ensure that every child can participate and enjoy their time with us.
